The trailer of Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar’s docu-series, Angry Young Men, was launched today. Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan were the most popular and legendary writer-duo of Indian cinema. They worked together for many years on around 24 films and delivered big hits like Sholay, Zanjeer, Deewar, Don and Shaan, among many others.

Here’s a look at their iconic filmography:

Andaaz

The Ramesh Sippy directorial film was released in 1971. It featured Rajesh Khanna, Shammi Kapoor and Hema Malini as leads.

Adhikar

Ashok Kumar and Nanda Karnataki’s Adhikar came out in 1971. The film was directed by SM Sagar and also featured Deb Mukherjee in a key role.

Haathi Mere Saathi
