UP: Girl abducted, raped at SP MLA's house, police yet to act
The girl alleged that police threatened her and her family not to take the MLA's name during the statement to the magistrate.

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party MLA Hariom Yadav has been accused of abducting a minor girl who was later allegedly gangraped at his house. The girl has lodged a statement before the magistrate but Uttar Pradesh Police is yet to act in the case.

Yadav is a MLA from Sirsaganj in Firozabad district and according to the girl she was abducted from Agra on November 13 and recovered on December 26 from Shikohabad.

The police claim that the girl was recovered from the railway station while she has been alleging that she was kept at Yadav's home.

The family also alleges that it is being threatened by the accused. The girl alleged that police threatened her and her family not to take the MLA's name during the statement to the magistrate.

According to the girl and her family the police are yet to arrest the two accused named in the statement. Sources said they are very close to the MLA.

But Yadav has accused his opponents of trying to trap him.
