Naveen has fall, suffers ligament injury

BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday suffered a ligament injury after he fell down while taking a morning stroll on the lawns of his residence here.Patnaik suffered injuries on his right leg when he slipped and lost balance. An X-Ray revealed there was a ligament injury. The Chief Minister has been advised complete rest by the doctors, a release from his office said.All official engagements scheduled for Thursday have been cancelled. His visit to Angul district on Friday was also cancelled. He will, however, do his official works from his residence till he fully recovers.
