BANGALORE:  Governor H R Bhardwaj has asked the advocates to ‘forgive and forget’ the March 2 incident which occurred at the City Civil Court complex. Referring to the advocates’ indefinite protest by boycotting court proceedings, he said,  “The boycott is not acceptable. The problem can be solved positively. But at present it looks negative. There is only one solution to the issue. Everybody should forget the incident and forgive others.”Speaking after inaugurating Karnataka State Prosecuting Officers Associations’ State-level conference on Saturday, he said, advocates, police and media should behave respectfully. “They should not stick to their prestige. The role of each organ is very important and they should work together for the betterment of the society.”“I am always there to solve the issue. I already had talks with advocates. I am always there to mediate between advocates and the media, if they wish to discuss the issue,” Bhardwaj Said.Speaking on the occasion, Home Minister R Ashok Said, “The State government is trying to fulfil advocates’ demand and there are possibilities of finding solution to the issue. The litigants and notaries are facing problems following advocates’ protest. Keeping all this in mind, the advocates should call off their protest, otherwise it will send a wrong message to society.”
