Russian Blogger Cooks Poha With Indian Mom, Impresses Internet

The clip opens with a Russian girl in a black saree. She enters a local eatery shop and greets a woman. She asks the name of that woman. The woman replies that her name is Mala Sooryavanshi. As the video progresses, the blogger helps that woman prepare veggies for poha. As the video goes on, an Indian woman can be seen guiding her on how to cook poha and what to add first. The blogger follows the steps as suggested by the lady and cooks it. The Indian woman also introduces the blogger to her family while cooking poha. The lady can also be seen helping the blogger in serving poha to other family members present at the shop.

The video was shared on Mariia Chugurova’s Instagram handle a day ago. Sharing her day’s adventures, Marie reflected on her experience, emphasizing how good she felt after making her favourite Indian dish. In the caption, she wrote, “As the saying goes, ‘the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach.’ And let me tell you, my stomach was feeling some serious love after making my first-ever poha with my Indian mom. Poha is not only delicious but also holds a special place in my heart as it is my all-time favorite Indian dish. And despite my love for it, I have always been intimidated to make it myself. But my mom wouldn’t let me give up that easily. She gave me a quick rundown of the process and divided the tasks between us. I was in charge of cutting the vegetables while she prepared the base for the dish. And let me tell you, my vegetable-cutting skills were not up to par with my mom’s. But she kept cheering me on, assuring me that even if they weren’t perfect, they’d still taste delicious.” She also asks the viewers what is their favourite dish.
