New Delhi: Pakistan is yet to respond officially to India's 26/11 dossier but CNN-IBN has got details from sources within the Pakistan establishment that the terror plan was hatched in Austria and Dubai.
According to the source, Pakistan is only the execution ground for the terror attack.
It was also indicated that Bangladesh-based terror group HuJI was involved in 26/11. The source further claimed that terror camps were closed in Pakistan much before the Mumbai terror attack.
According to the source, Pakistan will also seek consular access for Ajmal Kasab, the only terrorist caught during the Mumbai attack.
Reports in the Pakistani media say that three men suspected to have helped Kasab have reportedly been held in Karachi.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have sought the help of FBI in tracing the calls made to the attackers using voice over internet protocol.
Three Mumbai Police officers also might go to the US.
The FBI, which was in Mumbai soon after the attack had aided the Mumbai Police in the technical aspects of the investigation.
It is also believed that the senate in Islamabad wants to ban all Indian channels in Pakistan. The senate has directed media watchdog Pakistan Media Regulatory authority to ban all Indian channels.
Pak officials' first Indian visit post 26/11
A delegation of Pakistani officials left for India on Monday to attend the SAARC Economic Council meet in New Delhi. It is the first official visit from Pakistan to India after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
The four-member Pakistani delegation is headed by Commerce Secretary Salman Ghani.
The federal commerce secretary said the Pakistani delegation, attending the SAARC Economic Council two-day meet beginning February 10, comprises commerce joint secretary, officials of the Foreign Office and Federal Board of Revenue, Geo TV reported.
Ghani said the matters related to non-tariff free trade without any barriers and boosting economic interactions among the SAARC countries would be focused upon.
He is expected to meet his Indian counterpart during the tour.
