The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has begun the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) counselling 2024 today, August 5. Candidates can apply for the counselling on the official website at lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in. As per the schedule, the registration window will close on August 20. The list of eligible candidates will be published on August 21. The TS LAWCET is an entrance examination and it is held for admission to various law courses offered by colleges in the state of Telangana.
TS LAWCET Counselling 2024: Eligibility criteria
For the three-year LLB programme, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognised university or equivalent examination. For the general category students, they must have at least 45 percent marks, and for the OBC candidates, it is 42 per cent. For the candidates coming from SC, and ST categories the cut off is 40 per cent.
For the 5-year integrated LLB programme, general category candidates should have completed their class 12 or an equivalent examination with 45 per cent marks. The cutoff is 42 per cent for the OBC category and 40 per cent for the SC, and ST candidates.
TS LAWCET Counselling 2024: Steps to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website — lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the TS LAWCET & PGLCET-2024 admission option
Step 3: Select the “TG LAWCET 5YDC & 3YDC” or “TGLCET LLM” tab
Step 4: A new window will appear on your screen of the counselling registration
Step 5: Fill out the form and provide the documents needed
Step 6: Pay the registration fee and submit the form
Step 7: Take a screenshot or printout of it for future reference.
TS LAWCET Counselling 2024: Application fee
The candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 800 and Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates. The amount has to be paid through online payment Credit Cards/Debit Cards/Internet Banking in favour of ‘Secretary, TGCHE.’
TS LAWCET Counselling 2024: Exam Pattern
The exam typically consists of multiple-choice questions, covering various topics such as General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, and Legal Aptitude. The test is usually conducted offline in pen-paper mode.
