Rahul Srivastava, a corporate leader in Mumbai, established this scholarship in commemoration of his maternal grandmother, Bindhyachal Devi, grandfather, Madan Mohan Prasad, and aunt, Bimla Srivastava. The scholarships have been established for students at the university’s Faculty of Education, Central Hindu Girls’ School, and Central Hindu Boys School. The University got financial help for this award through the Pratidan initiative. Sudhir Kumar Jain, the university’s Vice Chancellor, stated in an interview that this will directly benefit meritorious students who lack the financial resources to pursue an education. This will help them acquire their desired employment and focus on their education because it alleviates the burden of financial assistance.
