The craze for tea among Indians is well-known and continues to grow rapidly across the country. People are eager to try different tea flavours, and opening tea stalls with unique names has become a trend. Following this trend, a man in Bihar’s Buxar has opened a new tea stall called ‘Bewafa Chai Wala’. According to shop owner, the name was not chosen at random, but rather stems from a heart break.
Heartbroken, but not Defeated
Chhotu Gupta, the owner of ‘Bewafa Chai Wala’, shared with Local18 that he started the shop in 2023 after experiencing a painful betrayal in love. While many people feel shattered after heartbreak, he channeled his pain into starting his own business. Today, his shop is well-known among the residents of Buxar, with his daily earnings reaching thousands of rupees.
Chhotu Gupta believes that the success of his shop is not only its unique name but also because of the excellent quality of tea served. He also revealed that he sells around 1,000 cups of tea per day, offering four different flavours.
Customers can enjoy tea priced between Rs 10 to Rs 25, and the shop operates from 6AM to 11AM and from 4 PM to midnight.
According to Chhotu Gupta, the specialty of his tea lies in its preparation over a slow coal flame as tea made on coal imparts a pleasant aroma and unique taste.
