Salman Khan's Bodyguard Shera's Son Makes Rare Appearance At Sonakshi Sinha's Wedding Reception

Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s longtime bodyguard, Gurmeet Singh Jolly aka Shera, has become a well-known face in the industry. His decades-old association with the actor got him a lot of recognition from both Salman’s family and his fanbase. While he remains a constant aide by Khan’s side at various events, Shera’s son, Abir Singh, has now made a rare appearance in front of the media. Accompanied by his father, Abir attended actress Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding reception.

In one of the videos going viral, the father-son duo arrived at the reception party. Twinning in black shirts, they readily posed for the media together and greeted them before entering the venue. While Shera chose a simple black shirt with brown trousers, Abir chose a black shirt with blue jeans and black shoes. His long hair was tied in a half-bun.

Notably, this is one of the very few moments that Abir Singh was seen with his father at a public event. In the meantime, Salman Khan also made a dashing entry at Sonakshi and Iqbal’s grand wedding reception. He was covered by tight security as he reached the venue.

Abir Singh, the son of Salman Khan’s celebrated loyal bodyguard, is quite active on social media. His Instagram handle is filled with pictures of him with his father and Salman Khan. Often, Abir refers to Salman Khan as his godfather and calls him the “pillar of strength” for his father.

Said to be an aspiring actor, Abir is quite a fitness freak. According to multiple reports, Salman Khan had plans to launch him into Bollywood. However, there are no updates on it. On the work front, Abir has already worked as an assistant director in Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma’s 2016 film, Sultan.

Last seen in Tiger 3 opposite Katrina Kaif last year, Salman Khan’s next project is Sikandar alongside Rashmika Mandanna. The actor recently started shooting Sikandar. Apart from that, Salman also has The Bull with Karan Johar and Tiger vs Pathaan in the pipeline.
