Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav expanded his Cabinet on Friday after a gap of almost three months and reinducted Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya into his Cabinet.
Raja Bhaiya was dropped from the UP Cabinet as Minister of Food and Civil supplies in March 2013 after being named in the murder of Deputy SP Zia-ul-Haq.
Parveen Azad, wife of the slain Deputy SP, had alleged his involvement in the officer's death in Balipur village, 75 km west of the Pratapgarh district, on March 2, 2013.
He was called by CBI twice for questioning and even underwent a polygraph test which he had cleared.
