New Delhi: The special panel of experts of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on 12-year-old Arian who is suffering from Hunter Syndrome is likely to be submitted to the Union Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan Singh on Monday.

The 12-year-old's plight was highlighted by CNN-IBN and Change.org earlier this month following which the parents met the Health Minister and discussed their woes.

The Minister had asked AIIMS to form a team of experts to study Arian's case.

Arian is fighting a rare genetic disorder called hunters syndrome and CNN-IBN has been giving voice to his appeal to make the expensive treatment available and subsidized. Arian's only cure is one of the most expensive drugs in the world. But this family is not just fighting for itself but for those battling this disease without any means to afford its cure.
