The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced the results for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2023 . Aspirants who appeared in the CCE exam can visit the official website of the Assam Public Service Commission at apsc.nic.in and download the APSC CCE preliminary 2023 result. It is to be noted that candidates will have to key in their login credentials, such as their registration number and password, to access and download the APSC CCE prelims 2023 result.
In addition to that, the commission has also released the APSC CCE prelims 2023 exam merit list on the official website. The merit list will be available in the PDF format. Following the APSC CCE Prelims result, candidates who passed the Assam APSC CCE prelims exam 2023 will have to appear in the next stage of the examination, which is the APSC CCE mains exam 2023.
The Combined Competitive (Main) examination, 2023 is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in June or July 2024. The admit card and the exam schedule for the APSC CCE Mains examination will soon be issued by the commission on the official website, apsc.nic.in. Talking about the exam pattern, the APSC CCE Mains exam will consist of two parts, namely the descriptive-type written papers and the interview (personality test).
The written test will include six papers. Out of this, one paper focuses on essay writing, while the remaining five cover topics related to general studies. The maximum marks for each paper are 250, and candidates will be given a duration of 3 hours to complete each paper. It is important to note that those who qualify for the main examination will only move on to the interview round, which carries 275 marks.
APSC CCE Prelims 2023: How to Check the Results
Step 1: Candidates need to visit APSC’s official website at apsc.nic.in.
Step 2: Then, look for and click on the “Result of the Combined Competitive (Prelims) Examination 2023” link available on the homepage.
Step 3: Key in your credentials, such as your registration number and password, and log in.
Step 4: Once done, the Assam APSC CCE prelims result 2023 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Check carefully and save a copy of the result and merit list PDF.
Step 6: Take a printout of the same for future use.
Meanwhile, the Assam APSC CCE prelims exam 2023 took place on March 18 in two shifts. The CCE Prelims General Studies Paper 1 exam took place in the first shift, from 10 AM to 12 PM, while the General Studies Paper 2 exam was conducted in the second shift, from 2 PM to 4 PM.
Under this recruitment drive, the commission is aiming to fill up a total of 235 vacancies in Assam Police Services, Assam Civil Services, and other departments of the Assam Public Service Commission.
