Hyderabad: After Sonia Gandhi, it is now BJP's PM nominee Narendra Modi's turn to woo voters in India's newest state Telangana. Modi will be addressing public meetings at Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Mahbubnagar and Hyderabad on Tuesday. Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan will also be accompanying Modi during his election meetings.
The TDP chief, N Chandrababu Naidu who has joined the BJP-led NDA is likely to share the dais with Modi. The relationship between the TDP and the BJP has already been strained and some of the BJP leaders in Telangana are opposing Naidu's participation.
Modi will be addressing a big rally at the historic Nizam's College grounds in Hyderabad. After that, he will visit other parts of Telangana.
The BJP-TDP alliance in Telangana is expected to win a few seats in the new state this time. However, the ground reports are suggesting that the main contest is between the Congress and the TRS at most places.
