Beloved ‘Friends’ star Matthew Perry passed away on October 28. He was popularly known for playing Chandler Bing on the popular American sitcom. The actor was found dead in the hot tub of his Los Angeles home. According to the reports, authorities reached his home at around 4 pm, where he was found unresponsive. As the news broke out, tributes started pouring in for Matthew. Now, devastated friends have come up with a theory through a series of cryptic photos and captions uploaded by the star on his Instagram handle.

According to the fans, the bat-signal images, uploaded by Matthew multiple times, were a cry of help.

One of Matthew’s posts show a camera panning around what appears to be a bedroom. The room had screens on three walls and each showed the logo of the 2022 The Batman movie. There was also a bat signal silhouette on the ceiling. “No need to worry everybody,” Perry wrote, “I’ve got the streets tonight.”

He also posted a photo of a Halloween-ready pumpkin with a Batman-logo-shaped hole. “Do you know what I mean?” he captioned it.

Matthew’s last post on Instagram shows him in his hot tub wearing headphones and chilling in one corner of a pool “Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I’m Mattman,” he wrote.

Fans believe that Matthew was sending out bat-signals as a distress call. Some even highlighted that it was unusual for the actor to not post anything for a long time and then post regularly on only Batman. Some also made reels putting forth bizarre theories. Here, have a look:

Meanwhile, the actor battled addiction to alcohol and opioids. He sought help for the same by admitting himself to rehab multiple times. Matthew had confessed that he doesn’t remember shooting three seasons of the show. One of his last appearances on the screen was in 2021 when Matthew joined the cast of Friends for a special reunion episode.
