Nithya Ram is an Indian actress who has predominantly worked in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam TV industries. She is the elder sister of Kannada actress Rachita Ram. Nithya Ram gained recognition for her Tamil serial, Nandini and quickly became a household name. The actress is now all set to make her comeback with a new family drama serial. Nithya Ram started her career as an actress with a Kannada television show called Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu, which aired on Zee Kannada. She shared the screen with her younger sister. After her marriage, she stayed away from the limelight. Now, she is all set to star in Shanthi Nivasa serial.
The serial is the story of a woman named Shanthi. She is considered to be the favourite daughter-in-law, favourite mother and sister, loved sister-in-law and the sweetest aunt. Her house help considers her to be her daughter. She is the guiding light of the family who loves everyone equally and always understands what her family needs, even before they ask for it.
Nithya Ram as Shanthi will be special and looks promising enough to win the hearts of the audience with her simple depiction.
Shanthi Nivasa will premiere on Udaya TV on July 22. It will air every Monday to Friday at 8:30 pm. Currently, the serial’s promo has been making a lot of buzz among the Kannada audience. Her fans are super happy to have her back on the small screen after her last show, Nandini, which touched the hearts of the viewers.
Nithya Ram has appeared in other Kannada shows such as Karpoorada Gombe, Rajkumari and Eradu Kanasu. She has also worked in a Telugu film called Muddhu Bidda. Later, she was roped in for Diganth, but it did not work out for her. In 2017, she starred in Nandini, which aired on Sun TV and was backed by Sundar C. It was a Tamil supernatural fantasy thriller.
