Rajinikanth Lands In Mumbai To Watch India vs NZ World Cup Semi Final Match; Video Goes Viral

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth confirmed he will be watching the World Cup semi final match between India and New Zealand. The match will be taking place on Wednesday in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. A day before the match, the Jailer star was spotted at the Chennai airport, rushing to board his flight. He told the media gathered outside the airport, “I am going to see the match.” Hours later, Rajinikanth was seen making his way out of the Mumbai airport.

The humble superstar greeted the paparazzi with a big smile and even wished them on the occasion of Diwali. Rajinikanth was joined by his wife Latha. The couple opted for casual ensembles for the flight. Rajinikanth was seen wearing a dark blue shirt with a pair of denim pants while Latha was seen wearing a churidaar. Watch the videos below:

Rajinikanth might not be the only star present at the match. According to a Times Now report, Board of Control for Cricket in India aka BCCI has given Amitabh Bachchan has a golden pass, thus opening up the possibility of the superstar attending the match. It is rumoured that Ranbir Kapoor could also make his way to the match to promote his film Animal. Aamir Khan is also rumoured to be attending the match. It is also claimed that David Beckham could attend the match. The legendary footballer landed in Mumbai on Tuesday.

India has a winning streak going on at the World Cup and fans are hoping that they qualify for the finals.
