BANGALORE: Minister for Large and Medium Industries, Murugesh R Nirani on the founder's day celebration of Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA) on Thursday, said, "One can achieve what you desire for if the person is talented. When I started a sugar factory, I worked for 20 hours a day and I did not feel tired. You should always dream of success. From the government we give all the support and I have directed the department officials to go to all types of entrepreneurs and understand their problems."Giving a few tips on how to become a successful entrepreneur, Chairman of Deccan Logistics, Capt G R Gopinath said, "If the government wants to see development in the country they should provide good roads and power and it is not the big companies who are contributing economy to the state but it's small scale industries and unorganized sectors. Your vision is not enough; it must be combined with venture."Dr K Chidananda Gowda, former vicechancellor, Kuvempu University said, "Entrepreneurs are those who organise and manage a business undertaking, assuming the risk for the sake of profit and they take a concept and convert it into a reality."KASSIA presented the award Udyoga Nirman Prashasti to Murugesh R Nirani and Udyoga Uthkrushta Prashasti to Capt Gopinath.KASSIA Karigarika Ratna prashati was given to Galangalappa B Patil, Managing Director, S B Patil Group of Industries, Gulbarga, Deepak V Dhadoti, Managing Direcor, Sevocontrols Aerospace and Prakash GS of M/s Pushpak products.Justice Shivaraj V Patil, former judge, Supreme Court of India and entrepreneurs from all over the state were present during the occasion held in city.
