Kareena Kapoor REVEALS Why She Doesn't Want To Be 21 Again, Says 'I Was More Hyper & Anxious'
Kareena Kapoor got candid about embracing her age and why she would never want to be 21 ever again.

Kareena Kapoor is among those actors who have successfully balanced their work and personal lives. The actress who has been in the industry for over 23 years has previously impressed the audience with her performances in Laal Singh Chaddha and Jaane Jaan. As she awaits her next release Crew, the actress shared in a recent interview that she is happy to embrace her age and she doesn’t want to be 21 again.

While interacting at the ABP Ideas summit, Kareena Kapoor explained, “Today the audience has become accepting. Age is just a number, it’s as old as you look, you have to be fit, you have to look good, because it’s a visual medium so we have to look after ourselves. I don’t want to ever be a 21-year-old again, I’m very happy. At 21, I was so much more hyper, and anxious and I’m much calm, and I’m in a happy place in my 40s.”

Kareena Kapoor also quipped about female actors getting more prominent roles now, especially in an industry that was male dominated, “”I think it has changed because a lot of strong women have done a lot of strong parts in films. They have done films that have been loved by the audiences, by the masses, by the film people, by critics, and at the box office.

So, whether it’s leading actresses like Kangana Ranaut, Vidya Balan, Deepika Padukone or myself, we’ve always tried to stand for roles that have risen above just being there in the film. So, all has changed a lot of dynamics on many levels, like demanding a certain role, a certain fee, or position,” she stated.

Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, ‘Crew’ has been shot in various locations across India, primarily Mumbai. Scheduled for release on March 29, 2024, the film is poised to be a major offering from Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Film & Communications Network, promising non-stop entertainment on the big screen.

The teaser shows the story of three cabin crew attendants who come from different walks of life. Hailing from middle-class families they are hardworking but destiny leads them to unexpected situations. They are seen stealing items from the airport. Kapil Sharma is also seen in the film.
