Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao’s latest film Srikanth has been winning the hearts of the audience, as evident from the box office collection. The movie had a slow start but witnessed a significant jump in earnings over the weekend.
Rajkummar Rao’s Srikanth opened with Rs 2.25 crore on its first day at the box office. However, it saw a substantial increase in business on the second day and earned Rs 4.2 crore, marking an 87 per cent growth. Now the film’s earnings on the third day (Sunday) have been particularly noteworthy.
According to early estimates reported by Sacnilk, Srikanth has done a business of Rs 5.50 crore across the country on Sunday, bringing its total three-day collection to Rs 11.95 crore. It is important to note that these figures may change once the official data is released.
Srikanth is a biopic of famous industrialist Srikanth Bolla, who has been blind since birth. His entire journey has been described in the film. He was born into a very poor family in a small village in Andhra Pradesh. In the movie Srikanth, it is shown how, despite being blind, he studied abroad and built a company worth Rs 500 crore based on his skills. His entire struggle, as well as a glimpse of his love story, can be seen in the film.
The film Srikanth has been directed by Tushar Hiranandani under the banner of T-Series and also features Sharad Kelkar, Alaya F, and South actress Jyothika in prominent roles.
After Srikanth, Rajkumar Rao will be seen with Jhanvi Kapoor in Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. The trailer for the film has already been released, and the film will be released on May 31.
