Sonakshi Sinha’s mother Poonam Sinha appeared irritated after the paparazzi surrounded her car. Poonam was headed to her daughter Sonakshi’s wedding venue on Sunday when the cameramen mobbed her. While she smiled and waved at the cameras at first, she appeared annoyed when they wouldn’t let her car pass. Things took a shocking turn when a cameraman shoved his phone into her car through the driver’s window.
Shatrughan Sinha’s wife was visibly upset with the invasion of her space. Her driver pulled the cameraman’s hand out of the car while a bodyguard pushed the man aside. They quickly left the venue. Watch the video below:
A source informed The Indian Express that the wedding registration will take place at Zaheer Iqbal’s residence. It seems like the couple is not hosting a Nikkah or a Hindu-style wedding ceremony. Instead, after their marriage is registered, Sonakshi and Iqbal will be hosting a wedding party. The bash will take place at Shilpa Shetty’s famous restaurant, Bastian.
Ahead of the big day, Poonam hosted a special pooja at her and Shatrughan’s home, Ramayan. The pooja was attended by Sonakshi and friends, Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem. Videos of the puja being hosted went viral.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are getting married after dating for seven years. The actress’ father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha was upset that she had not kept him informed about her wedding plans. But he eventually gave her his blessings.
“Shadiyan sab ke ghar hoti hain. Pre-wedding conflicts are also common. We are all okay now. Whatever the stress has been sorted,” he told Times Now before adding, “Koi wand nahi hai. Yeh sab hota hi hai har shaadi main. Just because she is Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, it doesn’t mean Sonakshi can’t have what she wants in life. Hum log bohot maza karenge June 23 ko.”
