For John Abraham, the success of the movie also touches a sweet spot as he is one of the producers of the film. The Parmanu team attributes its success to strong word of mouth publicity.
Produced by Zee Studios, Kyta Productions and JA Entertainment and directed by Abhishek Sharma, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran is based on the nuclear bomb test explosions conducted by the Indian Army at Pokhran in 1998 and the events that led to India emerging as a global nuclear superpower.
