New Delhi: Nithya Menon is going through a rather enviable phase on the professional front at present. Just a short while after bagging a pivotal role in '24', the actress has been roped in to essay the lead role in Sudeep's latest big screen outing 'Kotigobba'.
To be directed by KS Ravikumar, the film was launched amidst much fanfare this June. However, it did not go on the floors as the heroine could not be finalised.
Interestingly, according to some rumours, the makers had previously approached Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal to play the female lead but talks with them failed. The shooting of 'Kotigobba' will begin this August. It is likely to be shot in Bangalore and Chennai.
