Bollywood actress Kajol recently took to her social media handle to share her love for films and all things in between. She opened up about one film each from Bollywood and Hollywood that has impacted her.
In the video snippet shared on Instagram, the actress said, “My favourite film of all time that I can pick up anywhere and watch at anytime is Sholay. I absolutely love the film, and I love the characters. It’s like the most perfect book coe to life. Thank God It wasn’t the book.”
The actress further added, “I recently sat down and watched Sound Of Music. And it was amazing, because I love the music I love the characters. I have sat spell bound to those entire 3 hours. I didn’t feel the need to get up, and take a break or go get a glass of water.”

This action-packed thriller marks the long-awaited reunion of these actors after nearly three decades since their collaboration in Rajiv Menon’s ‘Minsaara Kanavu’ (1997). According to recent updates, the initial filming phase of the movie has been wrapped up successfully. The team is now gearing up to unveil a sneak peek of the film in the near future.
In a bid to bring their grand vision to life, the creators of this ambitious project have enlisted the acclaimed cinematographer GK Vishnu, known for his work on ‘Jawan,’ and the talented editor Navin Nooli, who also worked on ‘Pushpa 2.’ The screenplay is penned by Niranjan Iyengar and Jessica Khurana, with Saahi Suresh set to elevate the visual appeal as the production designer. The music for this film will be orchestrated by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, celebrated for his work on ‘Animal’ directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Details regarding the storyline remains shrouded in secrecy for now.
Kajol, most recently recognised for her appearance in a segment of Lust Stories 2, has an enticing lineup of projects in store. She is poised to grace the screen in Do Patti alongside Kriti Sanon, Sarzameen with Ibrahim Ali Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Adding to her diverse repertoire, there’s a spine-chilling horror flick titled Maa currently in the works.
