Emmys 2024 Winners: The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards took place on Sunday night (Monday, IST) and has left everyone surprised. The biggest winners of the night were Shogun and Baby Reindeer. The shows not only picked up Best Series, in Drama and Limited Series but also won big on the acting front. However, the biggest shock came in the Comedy category.
While all bets were placed on The Bear to win, the Emmys night concluded with Hacks taking home the Best Comedy Show of the year. Hacks also won the Best Actress award. Meanwhile, The Bear took home the Best Actor, Best Supporting Supporting Actress and Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
The Emmy Awards 2024 are honouring shows released between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024. Last week, the Creative Arts segment awards were announced and Shogun has won 14 awards. These include costumes, makeup, editing, stunts, cinematography, and the best guest actor in a drama, which was presented to Néstor Carbonell. The Bear has won seven.
