Bobby Deol To Return As Baba Nirala In Aashram Season 4; Know Its Release Date

Aashram season 4 marks the highly anticipated continuation of the Indian web series. Debuting in August 2020 on MX Player, an Indian streaming service, Aashram revolves around Baba Nirala (played by Bobby Deol), a self-proclaimed guru with a large following of devoted individuals. However, Baba harbours a dark secret—he is a complete fraud, exploiting his followers’ money for personal luxuries and to wield influence in local politics. On the other side of the narrative is SI Ujagar Singh (portrayed by Darshan Kumar), a disillusioned police officer who uncovers a murder that pits him against Baba and his followers.

Season 2 of Aashram swiftly followed just a few months after the premiere of season 1 in November 2020. This was followed by a brief hiatus until Aashram season 3 was released in June 2022. The third season concluded with a cliffhanger, leaving Baba triumphant, and fans eagerly anticipating the next instalment. Luckily, Aashram season 4 has been confirmed and is on its way, much to the delight of the show’s supporters.

The trailer for Aashram season 4 features Baba addressing a crowd, proclaiming, “I am God. I am beyond your laws. I have created this paradise. How can you arrest God?” It then depicts Pammi willingly returning to Baba’s ashram. However, Baba’s lieutenant, Bhopa Singh, warns Pammi to stay away before the teaser concludes with her dressed as a bride. It seems that the relationship between Pammi and Baba could be the central storyline of Aashram season 4.

After Aashram season 3, Baba ascends to the status of “Bhagwan,” signifying that his followers now regard him as a divine figure on Earth. This represents the pinnacle of power he can attain, and in season 4, Baba will likely go to great lengths to maintain this newfound title. However, despite his elevated status, Baba finds himself incarcerated at the end of season 3. The season 4 teaser depicts Bhagwan preaching from behind bars, asserting that a god cannot be confined. Baba’s confrontation with the law will intensify even further in Aashram season 4.

If media reports are accurate, Aashram 4 will follow the trend and be released on MX Player, as in previous seasons. However, fans may have to wait another 10 months for its release. According to speculation, Aashram 4 is expected to premiere in December 2024, the last month of the year. While the show’s creators have not confirmed this officially, it’s something to look forward to for fans of the series.
