Befikre title track, Ude Dil Befikre, staring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor has already become the anthem for carefree lovers. The song has more than 9 million views on Youtube withing two weeks. Now, YRF has released the making of the 'dare' song and it is as fun as the final video.
Shot in France in a chilly weather, the making shows Ranveer, Vaani discussing their experience. Choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant sheds light on the challenges faced by the team while shooting. "We were dared to complete the song in giving slot."
"The weather was so cold that Adi has to come to us saying you are not feeling cold, you cannot feel cold because it's coming on your face", Ranveer elaborates.
Composed by Vishal-Shekhar, the duo says the title track is a mix of french mixed with Arabian music and it was difficult to find the right singer for it. "The entire song was composed on a stairwell. When someone suggested Benny Dayal's name for the song and we were like he's a south Indian, we want someone who can get Arabic nuances."
"Then we came to know that he has spent his childhood in Oman and knows Arab Music fairly well. He came in and nailed it," the music composers elaborate.
Ude Dil Befikre is the song of daring, carefree romance without any rules. The peppy track carries the essence of the film and we can't wait to experience the 'Befikre' love-story on December 9.
