Alia Bhatt Shares New Pictures with Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji From the Sets of Brahmastra

On an overwhelming demand by her followers, Alia Bhatt posted some pictures from the sets of Brahmastra on her social media handles on Thursday. The 27-year-old actress had asked her Instagram followers on Thursday via Instagram Stories what her next post should be about. Her followers were quick to respond as they requested her to drop a picture from the sets of Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra.

The actress obliged to her followers’ demand and posted two pictures from the sets of the upcoming magnum opus. The post featured Alia along with her co-actor and boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, along with director Ayan. The trio were seen standing in front of a giant statue of Goddess Kali.

The actress captioned the picture and wrote that it is a blessing to be on this journey and the two magical boys who just make everything fire and heart, as described by her emoticons. In a postscript, the actress added that it is just the beginning.

Alia’s post has garnered over 4,46,557 likes since it was shared as fans and celebrities share their excitement over the upcoming movie. One of the fans commented, “starting to get v v impatient !!!!!! cannot waitttt.” Brahmastra was scheduled to release in December 2020, which was already a one year delay, as its earliest release date was Christmas 2019. However, with the coronavirus pandemic, the makers had to again reschedule the release date of the movie.

Last month, Alia shared another picture from the sets of Brahmastra where Telugu superstar Nagarjuna was also seen along with Ranbir and Ayan. The post was dedicated to Nagarjuna as he wrapped up his shooting for the trilogy. Alia captioned that post and wrote that with the end of filming so near she cannot help but look back on what a journey it has been so far on the film.

A Dharma Productions movie, Brahmastra, is a fantasy fiction trilogy based on the Hindu mythology of lord Shiva. The movie stars some of the biggest stars from the Indian film industry including Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
