Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has got a good start at the box office before the Diwali weekend. The Karan Johar directorial collected Rs 13.30 Crore on day 1 and the collection is expected to increase on Saturday and Sunday.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the first-day collection of the film at Indian box office.

The film has also opened well in the UAE markets collecting $ 554,000 [₹ 3.70 cr] on its first day.

Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai in lead roles, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, is a story based on unrequited love and friendship. The film ran into controversy after MNS protested against it release for employing Pak artist Fawad Khan. Fawad Khan has a cameo appearance in the film.
With the entire Diwali weekend yet to be tapped, the film is expected to have a bumper collection by the end of the week.
