Garudan is a typical Tamil action drama, released worldwide on May 31. The film follows three characters: Aadhi (M Sasikumar), Karuna (Unni Mukundan) and Sokkan (Soori). The three share a strong bond and grow up like brothers.

According to the reports, it is said that on the first day of the release, Garudan earned around 3.00 crore in India. Since today and tomorrow are holidays, the collection of films is expected to increase further. In English, the name Garudan means eagle, meaning sharp eyes, alertness, and being on the lookout for enemies.
In a previous interview, director Durai Senthilkumar revealed that Garudan is a rural action film centred around themes of loyalty, trust, and faith. The character is inspired by a real-life person, although the narrative itself is entirely fictional.
Ramalakshmanan Muthuchamy, who is also known as Soori, is an actor who mainly works in Tamil films. In addition to Garudan, Soori has other exciting projects. He is working with Nandha KV on the John Peter-produced film Badava, and he will be starring in Vidhuthalai: Part 2, the second instalment of the series.
