Mumbai: Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW) Winter/Festive 2016 is scheduled to take place here from August 24.
LFW is jointly organised by Lakmé - cosmetics and beauty services brand in India and IMG Reliance Pvt. Ltd. - leaders in sports, fashion and entertainment marketing and management.
The fashion gala will conclude on August 28 at The St. Regis, Mumbai, read a statement.
While LFW is recognised to be a platform for talent through its Gen Next initiative to encourage young designers, it is also a body that has successfully curated large scale shows at off sites with leading designers such as Manish Malhotra and Rohit Bal.
LFW strives to continue its contribution to the business of fashion in India. With several new innovations and collaborations this season, the fashion week looks forward to a bigger, better and more sensational Winter/Festive 2016.
