Woman seeks Rs 10 lakh relief for loss of child, uterus

On the way to Puducherry, as Mary suffered severe pain, the husband approached the Govt hospital in Mundiyambakkam. They in turn, advised him to take his wife to the JIPMER.The woman was admitted  about noon in JIPMER. The doctors in JIPMER decided to perform caesarean operation, at 3 am the following day. However, due to the negligence, the woman was taken to some other ward where she gave birth to a stillborn male child without any medical help. In the course of treatment, her uterus was also removed. Her husband was having a spinal cord problem and he was not working.She was a construction worker and lost her occupation due to the medical problem.
