Vemulawada town in Rajanna Sircilla district of Telangana has got its first park. It is named Vemulawada Municipal Park. Since it is the first park in Vemulawada, the people of the town come to the park with their children in the evening. At night, the park lights up due to different lights and statues. The statue of Lord Shiva in the centre is one of the highlights of this temple. It has been built by the Mandala Parishad Development Office (MPDO) near its premises for Rs 2 crore.
Parents often bring their children to the park. The park is equipped with different slides and equipment for the children to play. As a result, children queue up for their turns, leading to a huge crowd. People often post their happy moments at the park on social media. For the convenience of the people, the Municipal Park of Vemulawada has been established by the Mandal Parishad office in the town of Vemulawada. Municipal officials said that in addition to the development programs done in the town as part of the development of Vemulawada, the park was established for Rs 2.5 crore.
When asked about this special park, the people of the town told Local 18 that they are happy to develop the park for the first time in the town and express their special thanks to the members of the municipal governing body and MLA Government Whip Adi Srinivas. People are excited about the establishment of a park that is infused with the statues of Lord Shiva.
Government Whip Adi Srinivas said that they are setting up a mini tank with Rs 10 crore in the surrounding areas of Vemulawada Rajanna Temple. The park has been developed at the banks of the Vemulawada River spending Rs 2 crore. Chairperson Madhaviraju said that they are working for the development of Vemulawada town irrespective of parties.
It has been clarified that two years ago under the leadership of Vemulawada Municipal Council, during the tenure of Minister KTR, MLA Ramesh Babu, the grant of funds for the development of a park in Vemulawada town was sanctioned by Village Tribal Development Agency. Officials say that the park will be open every day from morning to 9 pm.
