Ahead of the Cauvery Monitoring Committee meeting in New Delhi on Monday, a Central team headed by Union Water Resources Secretary D V Singh on Thursday held discussions with top officials of the State government and said the team would submit its report in the next four days after getting the views of the Karnataka government on the Cauvery water sharing issue.
In a brief interaction with the media at the Secretariat, after an hour-long discussion with Chief Secretary Debendranath Sarangi, PWD Secretary M Saikumar and other officials, Singh, accompanied by two of his colleagues, said a Central team would study the situation in the delta areas.
