Three killed in clash

ANGUL: Three persons died in a clash between people of Badibahal and Mundahata villages at Badibahal under Angul police limits on Monday.Police have detained seven villagers of both Badibahal and Mundahata.Police said there was past enmity among the villagers over a love affair between a boy and a girl of the villages.A meeting was called at Badibahal on Monday night to sort out the issue. During discussion, an argument ensued between the two groups leading to the clash. Three persons died and as many were injured.Two of the deceased have been identified as Tuku Naik and Gobind Naik of Mundahata.
