The paparazzi should be more sensitive when it comes to a woman's reputation: Soha Ali Khan on Deepika Padukone cleavage row
Soha said that Deepika Padukone defended herself very well and the paparazzi should be more sensitive when it comes to a woman's reputation.

New Delhi: While enough has been said and written on the clash between India's leading newspaper and Deepika Padukone, a lot of Indian celebrities have come out in support of the actress and lauded her for the brave act. With Hrithik and Katrina backing Deepika on the cleavage row and saying that what happened to the actress was 'wrong' and 'unavoidable', actress Soha Ali Khan too spoke about it when she came to the capital to promote her upcoming movie 'Chaarfutiya Chhokare'.

When asked about her view on the whole controversy, the actress said, "See I don't really know what happened but of course it's irksome. Paparazzi is a part and parcel of being an actor right now, but certainly when it comes to a woman's reputation they should be sensitive about it."

She further added, "I think Deepika Padukone defended herself very well and I don't think she needs anyone else to stand by her. Whatever the statement that she gave, she is perfectly capable of supporting herself and I think whatever Deepika said was absolutely spot on."

When asked about her reaction on the newspaper's reply to Deepika Padukone on their front page, Soha said, "I don't understand what is happening between them (the media house and Deepika Padukone) , but there is something certainly brewing."

Soha is sharing the screen space with National Award winning actress Seema Biswas in 'Charfutiya Chokare' and speaking about her she said, "Seema ji gets into her character like you snap your fingers there. Normally you want more screen time but she is so sweet that she kept on telling Manish to cut her dialogues . We have worked together in 'Midnight's Children', but it's for the first time that we are sharing the screens together."

When we asked Soha on what's the propelling factor behind she choosing such scripts, the actress said, "One thing that I look at is whether the script is good and also if I get an opportunity to do a good role. This year in 2014, there are a lot of films that go against the grain are doing well at the box office and 'Charfutiya Chokare' is one of them."

What's your reaction?
