Naidu pats TDP men for good show on TV

HYDERABAD: The performance of Telugu Desam Party leaders in debates on regional news channels is impressive, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has said. At a weekly media watch committee meeting of the party on Saturday, Naidu said the TDP leaders were effectively facing rivals on the small screen and successfully defending the party’s stand on various people’s issues. The TDP constituted the media watch committee to review the reports in the print and electronic media against the party and also the performance of party leaders who are participating in debates on TV news channels. The TDP reviews media reports on every Saturday.On the 22nd week, the TDP president observed that if the party leaders utilised the library, they could present their arguments in a better way. “We have a big library. The TDP leaders should be well prepared before attending the political debates on TV,” Naidu told his party seniors. It may be recalled that the Opposition TDP boycotted YSRC chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s media organisations and Telangana media channels.
