Congress on Thursday announced its 4th list of candidates for the Lok Sabha polls and named candidates for UP, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh too in addition with the other states.
With the list containing a total of 50 nominees, Congress fields Purnmasi Ram, in place of Dilip Kumar Majhi, from Gopalganj in Bihar. The other two candidates are Sanjeev Prasad Tony, in place of Pratima Kumar from Hajipur and Kunal Singh, in place of Rajkumar Rajan from Patna Sahib.
While the nominees from UP consist of Acharya Pramod Krishnam from Sambhal, Atul Chaturvedi from Firozabad and Satish Bind from Chandauli.
Among the 50 names declared by the Congress today, in the race are Smt. Imarti Devi from Bhindi and Laxman Singh from Vidisha, in Madhya Pradesh.
However, Congress is yet to announce its candidate against BJP's PM nominee Narendra Modi who is contesting from Varanasi of the politically-crucial Uttar Pradesh.
