New Delhi: Actor Kushal Punjabi, who was a wild card entry in the dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7' was evicted last week from the show, but the actor is confused with his eviction.
Talking to IBNLive.com, the 32-year-old actor shared his eviction story from the dance reality show and said that he felt his elimination was very unfair as both Madhuri Dixit and Karan Johar praised his dance act a lot, but preferred to keep Kiku Sharda in the show after the face-off.
Sharing his feelings on his eviction the actor said, "I felt it was really unfair on the maker's part to have eliminated me despite getting very good comments from Karan Johar and Madhuri Dixit. After my last dance performance, Karan Johar even went on to say that I am a superior dancer and even Kiku Sharda accepts it. Just because my concept was not as good as that of Kiku Sharda, I was shown the exit door."
The actor said that he is still not clear if the contestants on the show are judged on the basis of dance or concept. Because dance wise he gave his 100 per cent and performed his best jazz routine in the face-off with Kiku Sharda. But it was Kiku, who got one marks extra because of the concept, which he believes is wrong because he was told that the contestants are judged purely on dance.
Kushal even revealed that the comments given by Madhuri and Karan after his dance performance were also edited from the telecast . He said, "Madhuri and Karan praised my jazz routine a lot, but their comments were edited out of the telecast and I am still wondering the reason behind this."
Kushal wants Shakti Mohan to win the dance reality show, but he believes that it would be either Mouni Roy or Ashish Sharma, who would win the show.
