BHUBANESWAR: The two toppers of OJEE-2011 have qualified for the IITs. While one wants to join the civil services, the other seeks to pursue medical science.Sambalpur’s Roshan Sahu, who topped the medical stream of OJEE, says he wants to pursue higher education in neuro-science. Although he has found himself on the IIT merit list, he would like to join the MBBS programme. Son of Ram Sagar Sahu, an employee of Utkal Gramya Bank, Bargarh, he studied in Kendriya Vidyalaya and cleared the CBSE Class XII examination scoring 93 per cent.Topper of the engineering stream, Pratik Gourav, however, would join the IIT. Currently taking part in the International Chemistry Olympiad in Mumbai, he secured 331st rank in the IIT-JEE merit list which assures him a seat in an IIT.His father Pratap Chandra Mallick, an assistant manager with Urban Bank, Cuttack, says his son is focused on the civil services. After his B.Tech (either in computer sciences or electrical), he would prepare for the civil services.
