Los Angeles: Bradley Cooper and his three buddies are returning for another drunken misadventure in third Hangover film, which will release on May 24, next year.
Warner Bros is moving forward with the threequel of the film, whose second part became the highest-grossing R-rated comedy ever with an impressive haul of USD 575 million worldwide. The film, however, was slammed by the critics.
A third installment in the comedy franchise had been talked about previously. Cooper mentioned about it several months ago but this is the first official announcement from the studio, the Hollywood Reporter said.
Warners is currently negotiating deals with filmmakers and actors including Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha for Hangover 3. The studio, meanwhile, plans to release 300 sequel on August 2, next year while alien invasion film Pacific Rim has been moved from May 10, 2013 to July 12.
