Foggy weather conditions prevailed in the National Capital Region, disrupting air and rail traffic for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday.

New Delhi: Foggy weather conditions prevailed in the National Capital Region, disrupting air and rail traffic for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday.

Due to this, 54 Delhi-bound trains were delayed by several hours, 11 trains have been cancelled and 12 trains were rescheduled.

Airport authorities also confirmed that many flight operations were disrupted due to poor visibility on runways. Four international flights and five domestic flights were delayed and one Delhi-Hyderabad flight was cancelled.

The minimum temperature on Saturday settled at 12.3 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal while the maximum was pegged at 26.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal.

The relative humidity level oscillated between 31% and 98%, a Met Department official said.

The weatherman has forecast clear sky and shallow fog in the morning.
