BANGALORE: Chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has said that the deadlock over fee structure between the government and managements of private engineering colleges will be resolved in the next two-three days.Addressing the press here on Tuesday, he said that he would personally hold talks with representatives of Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K), with which the government is at loggerheads over the fee structure. While COMED-K wants the fees for engineering seats in their colleges under government quota to be hiked to Rs 50,000 from the existing Rs 30,000, the government opposed the move as it did not want to burden poor students. The government hiked the fees by Rs 2,500 which was flatly rejected by the COMED-K.
