Go to https://www.reddit.com/r/shadowbanned in a web browser. This is a subreddit that exists solely for users to ask whether or not they are shadowbanned. If you’re not signed in to the account you think is shadowbanned, sign in now.
Click Submit a new text post. It’s the blue button near the top-right corner of the subreddit.
Type a title for your post. It should say something like “Am I shadowbanned?”
Check the box next to “send replies to my inbox.” It’s under the “options” header.
Check the box next to “I am not a robot.”
Click submit. Your post now appears in the subreddit. Now you’ll need to wait for someone to respond. If you are shadowbanned, nobody will be able to see your post, even though you can see it just fine. If someone responds to your post, you are not shadowbanned. Even if the user says “yes you are shadowbanned,” you aren’t shadowbanned—the user would not have been able to see your post if you were really shadowbanned. Try to be patient, as an actual human must respond to your post. If it’s been 48 hours and you still haven’t received a response, you are probably shadowbanned.
