2 Simple Ways to Clear the Cache on Safari Browser
Want to clear your cache and cookies on Safari? Emptying your cache can help your device if it's struggling to load web pages quickly or crashes often. Here's how to clear your cache on Safari using your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
Quick Steps

Using iPhone or iPad

Open the Settings app. This is the grey cog icon. You can find it on your Home screen or in the App Library. Use this method to clear the cache and cookies on Safari. You can also clear the cache from Google Chrome if needed.

Tap Safari. You can find this in the list of pre-installed iOS apps.

Tap Clear History and Website Data. You may need to scroll down to find this.

Tap All History. This is the bottom option in the pop-up menu.

Tap Clear History. Your cookies, cache, and history will be deleted.

Clear your cache without deleting history (optional). If you want to just clear your cache and keep your browsing history, do the following: Go to Settings. Tap Safari. Tap Advanced. Tap Website Data. Tap Remove All Website Data.

Using Mac

Open Safari. This looks like a compass.

Click Safari. You can find this in the top toolbar.

Click Settings. This is in the drop-down menu.

Click Privacy. This is the tab at the top.

Click Manage Website Data. This is next to the Cookies and website data header.

Select the site(s) to clear your cache for. The site will be highlighted.

Click Remove or Remove All. The cache will be cleared.
