Madrid: Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho believes that Bayern Munich are capable of beating any side in this season's Champions League.
The Bavarians topped a group containing Manchester City, Napoli and Villarreal, before securing their place in the quarter-finals with a stunning 7-0 demolition of Basel in their last-16 second-leg clash at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night.
Bayern have been drawn to face Marseille, but they will meet Madrid in the semis should Los Blancos get past APOEL - and Mourinho is very wary of the threat posed by the Bundesliga side to Los Blancos' hopes of claiming a tenth European Cup crown.
"Bayern can beat any team in the tournament," he is quoted as saying by Bild. "I would consider them serious contenders."
Madrid will travel to Nicosia for the first leg of their quarter-final tie on March 27, before hosting the Cypriots at the Santiago Bernabeu on April 4.
