The National Medical Commission (NMC) has published the schedule for the state NEET UG counselling 2024. Candidates who have qualified for the exam can log in to the MCC website at mcc.nic.in and check the schedule. The state counselling committees will conduct the NEET UG counselling distinctly to fill approximately 85 per cent of the available seats, and the 15 per cent of the remaining All-India quota (AIQ) seats will be filled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
As per the counselling schedule, all states have been instructed to start the online registration of NEET UG counselling 2024 from August 21 and conclude on August 29, 2024. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has closed the Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2024 registration. It is likely to announce the verification schedule soon. While the Department of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, will close the MP NEET UG counselling registration window on August 20.
The conducting body of Punjab NEET UG counselling 2024, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, has also started accepting applications for MBBS and BDS admission in the state medical colleges. The deadline to apply for Punjab MBBS and BDS admissions through the official website, bfuhs.ac.in, is today, August 15. However, candidates will be allowed to pay the prescribed fee by August 16, 2024.
The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh will begin the state NEET UG 2024 registration process on August 20. Candidates can apply for the counselling process through the official website of UP NEET, upneet.gov.in. As per the schedule, the deadline to apply is August 24 till 2 pm. The authority will declare the merit list on August 24 and the choice-filling process will begin on August 24 up to August 29. The UP NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on August 30.

— The first step in the NEET UG counselling procedure is registering and paying a non-refundable fee.
— Next, the candidates will pick and lock the universities and medical courses that best suit their interests.
— The authorities will process these selections and post the seat allocation results on the official website, mcc.nic.in, after making its announcement.
— Selected applicants must upload the necessary paperwork and go to the designated medical or dentistry college as soon as the results are announced.
— By physically reporting to the institution with original documentation, those who were given a seat in round one may elect to move up to round two.
Aspirants seeking admission to the BSc Nursing course conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals under Military Nursing Services (MNS) will also be granted admission based on the NEET UG 2024 score.
