The premium motorcycle maker Triumph has launched the fully equipped Scrambler 1200X in India. The bike has been released at the starting price of Rs 11.83 lakh (ex-showroom), making it more affordable than the Scrambler 1200 XC.
Scrambler 1200X is more expensive than 1200 XE. The bike has been positioned one step below from both the mentioned models.
All About Triumph Scrambler 1200X
The Scrambler 1200X comes with a single seating arrangement, featuring a decent seat height of 820mm. It can be further lowered to 795mm, which makes it a perfect roadster for short-height customers.
The company has treated the motorcycle with with basic suspension and braking system. It gets preload adjustability for the Marzocchi mono-shock at the back, while the front features a golden-colored USD fork setup. The traction control, cornering dual-channel ABS, and multiple riding modes are just extra feathers to the cap.

Apart from this, the bike comes with a 21-17-inch spoke wheel combination, making it perfect to run on any terrain. It has been claimed by the company that the bike has a curb weight of 228kg, while the fuel tank capacity stood at 15 litres. Decent enough right?
Engine and Power
What makes both Scrambler 1200 series is the engine as it continues to be powered by a 1,200cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled unit. This forces the vehicle to generate a max power of 88.7bhp and 110Nm of peak torque. When it comes to the other more notable features, the 1200X gets a digital console, flaunting a blend of LCD and TFT.
