Grecia Munoz, the wife of Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, has decided to change her name on Instagram. She is now Gia Goyal. The Mexican businesswoman shared glimpses of her “new life” through a series of photos on the platform, including a joyful image of her and Deepinder enjoying a slice of cake together.
Gia’s Instagram bio now reads, “Born in Mexico, now at home in India.’’ Her recent post includes a snap of her in traditional Indian attire, celebrating the Holi festival, posing with a dog and capturing a sunkissed selfie. In the second photo of her carousel, Gia is seen enjoying herself at various locations, including one where she’s savouring delicious chole bhature. She also shared additional pictures featuring her husband, Deepinder Goyal, capturing their joyful moments together.
Deepinder Goyal secretly tied the knot with Gia Goyal in a private wedding earlier this year. The announcement of their wedding only became public in March shortly after they came back from their honeymoon in France.

Born in Mexico, Munoz rose to fame as a model before shifting her attention towards her luxury consumer products company. Her fashion influence was awarded at the Metropolitan Fashion Week in the US in mid-2022. Meanwhile, Goyal’s marriage with Munoz is his second marriage. His first was to Kanchan Joshi whom he met in IIT Delhi.
Joshi currently teaches Mathematics at Delhi University and remains largely private regarding the issues that led to her separation from Goyal. It is said that the couple has a daughter named Siara.
On the other hand, as per Forbes’ real-time net worth calculation, Goyal is worth $1.7 billion. He became a billionaire after the company share registered a record high rise pushing it more than 300% of the lowest level recorded in July of 2023. The stock on the BSE went up to a record Rs 230. The market capitalization crossed Rs 1.8 trillion. Goyal who owns 36.95 crore shares, or 4.24% stake in the company became India’s richest professional manager and the country’s latest billionaire having crossed the Rs 8,300 crore mark in net worth.
