Karisma Kapoor Brings the 70s Flair Back Inspired By Zeenat Aman’s Vibe

Only Karisma Kapoor can revive an era with panache! The stunning diva, who is one of the judges on the dance reality show, India’s Best Dancer, looked glamorous in one of her fashion avatars on the show.

The theme of one of the episodes revolved around the Era of Bollywood and Karisma’s look, which was styled by celebrity fashion stylist Ami Patel along with Garima Garg, was inspired by Zeenat Aman’s iconic vibe. The boho-chic style exuded the 70s flair with elan. “Turning heads with timeless 70s flair, Zeenat Aman vibe @therealkarismakapoor,” expressed Ami on Instagram. Ami, known for her unique styling that celebrates the star and the moment, shared a series of images of Karisma on Instagram, in the retro look.

And yes! Karisma did resemble the classic vibe of the evergreen superstar Zeenat Aman. The retro vibe was brought to life in a Shantnu & Nikhil ensemble featuring a wrap white shirt with printed flared trousers. The white full-sleeved shirt featured micro-pleating and looked like a timeless fit for every era. The multi-coloured printed pants featured side slits adding drama to the retro look. Shantnu & Nikhil had recently showcased their couture collection, Studio Mix, which revolved around the 70s fashion, and also had the iconic star Zeenat Aman at the show.

Not just her outfit, Karisma’s hair and makeup was on point too. Karisma’s cascading hairs styled by Radhika Yadav, beautifully captured Zeenat Aman’s signature hairstyle. The winged liner accentuated Karisma’s flawless makeup done by Divya Shetty. Karisma completed her stylish retro avatar with a stunning pair of sunglasses from MacV and jewellery from vintage designer jewellery brand, Viange. The rudraksh mala wrapped around both her wrists complemented the retro vibe of Karisma’s overall style.
